Kalaax.com (the “Website”) and the Kalaax mobile application (together, the “Platform”) are operated by Parts Hub L.L.C., incorporated under the laws of Egypt (“Kalaax”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1) Marketplace role and no OEM affiliation
Kalaax is an online marketplace that facilitates the sale of automotive spare parts by independent third-party sellers (“Sellers”). Kalaax does not manufacture, own, or control any vehicle make or spare parts brand and does not act as an agent of any OEM, importer, or authorized dealer unless explicitly stated on the Platform.
All vehicle makes, marques, model names, sub-models, trims, modifications, and related identifiers are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
Kalaax operates as an independent marketplace and does not represent OEMs.
2) Genuine vs. aftermarket; no endorsement
Unless explicitly stated on the relevant product page, Kalaax does not represent that any part is “genuine”, “OEM”, “OEM-authorized”, or approved by an OEM. Product claims (including origin, authenticity, and specifications) are provided by the Seller and/or manufacturer.
Product specifications and claims are provided by the respective Sellers.
3) Fitment, compatibility, and technical information
Product descriptions, photos, specifications, availability, and compatibility data may be provided by Sellers and/or third-party data sources (e.g., catalog/data providers). Kalaax may offer tools such as vehicle selection and compatibility matching to assist Buyers, but compatibility is not guaranteed.
The Buyer is responsible for confirming fitment before ordering (including part numbers and vehicle configuration). Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician. Kalaax is not responsible for losses or damages caused by incorrect selection, installation, or use.
Buyers are responsible for verifying compatibility prior to ordering.
4) Orders, payments, and seller responsibility
All sales are concluded between the Buyer and the Seller, unless the Platform clearly states that Kalaax is the seller of record for a specific item. Sellers are responsible for product quality, warranties (if any), Invoices/receipts (where applicable) and order fulfilment.
Sales contracts are concluded directly between the Buyer and the Seller.
5) Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed only by Kalaax’s Return / Cancellation / Refund Policy (the “Policy”), as published on the Platform and updated from time to time.
Where a refund is approved under the Policy, refunds are processed via the original payment method or another method permitted by the Platform. COD-related refunds (where applicable) follow the Policy’s procedure.
All cancellations and refunds are subject to Kalaax’s Return Policy.
6) Delivery, logistics, and delays
Delivery services are provided by third-party couriers. Delivery timelines shown on the Platform are estimates and may change due to factors beyond Kalaax’s control (including courier issues, traffic, weather, force majeure, or Seller readiness). Kalaax may assist in coordinating resolution but is not liable for third-party failures.
Delivery is handled by third-party partners; delivery dates are estimates.
7) Pricing, availability, and errors
Prices, stock availability, and delivery fees may change prior to order confirmation. Kalaax may correct listing errors (including mispricing or inaccurate descriptions). If an order is impacted, Kalaax and/or the Seller will proceed in accordance with the Policy (including cancellation and refund where applicable).
Listing prices and quantities may be updated, and mistakes corrected.
8) Search ranking, sorting, and sponsored placements
Search results may be ordered based on relevance, vehicle/fitment inputs, availability, price, delivery estimates, Seller performance metrics, and user-selected filters/sorting. Sponsored placements/ads will be clearly labeled where displayed.
Search rankings are determined dynamically based on filters and performance.
9) Platform availability and technical limitations
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. Kalaax does not guarantee uninterrupted operation and is not responsible for telecommunications/network failures, outages, or other technical issues outside its reasonable control.
Kalaax does not guarantee 100% uninterrupted platform operations.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kalaax is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform or products purchased through Sellers, including losses caused by compatibility errors, installation, third-party logistics delays, or Seller-provided information, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Kalaax’s liability is strictly limited under Egypt’s applicable laws.
11) Feedback and corrections
If you spot incorrect vehicle configuration, compatibility data, or listing information, please report it to [email protected] with the product link, vehicle details, and the issue description.
